A Thousand Words Thursday - So Shattered!

This is the result of my 2 1/2 year old son deciding mommy needed to have a "pepper hat" and placed our glass pepper mill on top of my head during dinner. Apparently pepper mills don't make very good hats. Shards of glass went everywhere. The bright side? Lucian now knows that you can't use a pepper mill for a hat (good lesson) AND at least I was done with my dinner of kabobs and a baked potato. (Which was absolutely yummy by the way!)

I prefer the salt shaker as a hat. I have easy access to tossing some over my shoulder for good luck. At least it wasn't a broken mirror....is it seven years bad luck? Take care.

As a foodie, I can't help but mourn the unfinished meal here...One of my biggest fear as a new dad is that I'll drop a glass in the kitchen and never get all the shards up before my little girl can crawl...
