Calypso Studios S.H.O.P.Totes {Giveaway}

You may have caught my post last month about Calypso Studios but just in case you didn't or need a refresher, here part of my review:

Last week I introduced you to Calypso Studios for the wonderful Earth Day Event. This past week I had the opportunity to review one of the fabulous totes that were part of the giveaway. The spacious bags are 17" x 19" when opened and easily roll up into a 2" x 3" size. Three bags are conveniently stored in an 8" x 6" wristlet carrying case. I love the variety of designs offered and appreciate that they go beyond the standard plain tote. I also can appreciate their generous size and the fact they can hold 20lbs and yet they fit easily in my purse. I got the veggy one from the "Grocery" line by Lori Siebert. Now I have no excuse to use so many plastic bags! Don't they make grocery shopping almost look fun? You can buy all three of these bags for only $20 and that includes the carrying case.
Now that I've had a chance to use my tote my only regret is that I don't have more of them! (Maybe I'll have to remedy that? Hmm..) They have also added some fun new choices like "Vineyard" and "Chili Peppers" both by Angie Tachiera. Aren't they unique and fun? Now you can have a chance to try them out yourself!

Post-It Recycled Notes~3M's Environmental Commitment {Review & Giveaway}

With all the latest attention on protecting the environment and how we all can take steps in our everyday lives, it is nice to know that large companies are trying to do the same. 3M has a long-term pledge toward being kind to the environment. Part of their initiative includes preventing pollution at the source and producing products that have a minimum effect on the environment. While we all need to do our part, large corporations like 3M can pave the way and make a noticeable impact. The amazing part? This initiative has been around for 30 years! Don't you just love 3M? My favorite 3M product is definitely Post-it Notes.

Post-it Recycled Notes is just one part of 3M's commitment to environmental stewardship. What I find even more interesting is that they have been around for 10 years!! They are made with 30% post consumer recycled paper and I had the chance to try them out. They function just like any regular Post-it and come in lots of fun colors.

Post-it Notes are simply a part of my every day life. At work I have three different sized pads handy at all times and I find that is really all I like to use for notes. I like that I can stick them to anything and I think I'd be a little lost without them. I look forward to using my Post-it Recycled Notes, enjoying their function and bright colors and appreciating their environmental friendliness.
